4. Your Design Files and Project Data
Any CAD files, STL files, or design specifications you share with us are used solely to fulfil your order. We do not share, sell, or use your design files for any other purpose. Files are retained for a reasonable period to handle reorders or revisions and deleted upon your request.

5. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal data to anyone.
We share your information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Outsource manufacturing partners — for services that are fulfilled through our partner network. Partners receive only the information necessary to complete the job.
- Logistics and courier partners — your name and delivery address for shipment of physical orders.
- Accounting and GST compliance — your billing details may be accessible to our accounting software and our CA for tax filing purposes.
- Legal requirement — if required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure systems. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we do our best to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We do not store data on servers outside India.

1. About Us
KAT Additive Technologies ("KAT", "we", "us", "our", "Tri-Aayam Enterprise") is an additive manufacturing and 3D printing services company based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We operate three divisions:
- KAT Manufacturing — 3D printing and vacuum casting services
- KAT Systems — 3D printer and spare parts sales
- KAT Materia — 3D printing material and filament sales
By using our website, placing an order, or engaging our services in any form — including via email, WhatsApp, or phone — you ("Client", "you") agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
2. Scope of Services
KAT Additive Technologies provides the following services:
- In-house 3D printing via FDM and MSLA resin technology
- Vacuum casting services via industrial-grade machinery and certified materials
- SLS and DLP (Figure 4) printing fulfilled through our certified partner network and quality-checked by us
- Sale of 3D printers, spare parts, and printing materials
For services fulfilled via partner networks, KAT Additive Technologies acts as the primary point of contact and quality coordinator. You contract with KAT, not directly with the partner.
3. Orders and Quotations
3.1 All quotations provided by KAT Additive Technologies are valid for 7 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
3.2 A quotation is not a confirmed order. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of advance payment or written confirmation from our side.
3.3 We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion — including but not limited to files that are unprintable, geometrically impossible, or that violate applicable laws.
3.4 Final pricing may vary from the quotation if the file submitted differs materially from the file described at the time of quotation.
4. File Submission and Client Responsibility
4.1 You are responsible for submitting print-ready files in accepted formats (STL, OBJ, STEP, 3MF). KAT Additive Technologies will flag obvious issues, but is not responsible for errors in client-supplied files, including incorrect dimensions, wall thickness violations, or structural failures inherent to the design.
4.2 By submitting a file, you confirm that:
- You own or have the legal right to print the design
- The design does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, patent, or copyright
- The intended use of the printed part is lawful
4.3 KAT Additive Technologies will not print designs that are intended for illegal use, that replicate regulated items (weapons, restricted devices), or that violate any applicable Indian law.
4.4 We treat all submitted files as confidential. We will not share, reproduce, or use your designs for any purpose other than fulfilling your order. NDAs are available on request before file submission.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Standard payment terms are as follows:

5.2 We accept payment via UPI, bank transfer, and cash. Payment receipts will be issued for all transactions.
5.3 GST invoices will be issued where applicable. If you require a GST invoice, inform us at the time of placing the order with your GSTIN.
5.4 Orders will not be dispatched or handed over until full payment is received unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Turnaround Time and Delivery
6.1 Standard turnaround times are indicative, not guaranteed:

6.2 Turnaround time begins from the date of file approval and receipt of advance payment — not from the date of inquiry.
6.3 KAT Additive Technologies is not liable for delays caused by print failures outside our control, partner network lead times, logistics delays, force majeure events, or delays caused by late client responses.
6.4 Rush orders may be accommodated at an additional charge. Confirm availability before placing a rush order.
7. Quality, Tolerances, and Acceptance
7.1 3D printing is a layer-based manufacturing process. All prints will have visible layer lines unless post-processing is specifically agreed upon and quoted.
7.2 Standard dimensional tolerances for FDM printing are ±0.1-0.3mm. Resin/DLP tolerances are ±0.1mm. SLS/VC tolerances are ±0.3mm. Tighter tolerances must be agreed upon in writing before order confirmation.
7.3 Minor surface variations, slight colour differences between batches, and small support marks are inherent to the 3D printing process and do not constitute defective output.
7.4 You are responsible for verifying that the material and process selected are appropriate for your intended application. KAT Additive Technologies will advise where possible, but cannot be held liable for end-use failures resulting from the client's selection of the wrong material or process.
7.5 Any quality concerns must be raised within 24 hours of receiving the order. Claims raised after this period will not be entertained.
8. Reprints, Refunds, and Cancellations
8.1 Reprints will be offered at no charge if the defect is caused by a verified error on our part — incorrect material, significant dimensional deviation beyond stated tolerances, or structural failure caused by our process.
8.2 Refunds will not be issued for:
- Prints that meet our stated tolerances but do not fit the client's application due to incorrect file dimensions
- Colour or finish variations within acceptable process limits
- Orders cancelled after printing has commenced
- Custom or one-off orders where production has begun
8.3 Cancellations must be requested before production begins. If advance has been paid and production has not started, the advance will be refunded minus any processing or material preparation costs.
8.4 For partner-fulfilled services, refund and reprint terms are subject to the partner's production status at the time of cancellation.
9. Material Sales — KAT Materia
9.1 All material sales are final unless the product is received in a damaged or defective condition.
9.2 Damaged or defective products must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
9.3 We do not accept returns of opened filament spools or resin bottles due to the hygroscopic and light-sensitive nature of these materials.
9.4 Product specifications (colour, diameter, weight) are as stated by the manufacturer or supplier. Minor variations are not grounds for return.
9.5 For Qiditech, Bambulab, and Elegoo printer purchases: warranty terms are governed by the manufacturer's warranty policy. KAT Systems will facilitate warranty claims on your behalf, but is not the warranty provider.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All content on the KAT Additive Technologies website — including text, images, print samples, and branding — is our property and may not be reproduced without written permission.
10.2 Printing a design for a client does not transfer any intellectual property rights from the client to KAT Additive Technologies or vice versa.
10.3 We retain the right to photograph completed prints for portfolio and marketing purposes unless you explicitly request confidentiality at the time of placing the order.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 KAT Additive Technologies' total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific order in question.
11.2 We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of revenue, or production downtime resulting from delayed or defective orders.
11.3 We are not liable for the end-use performance of printed parts in any safety-critical application, including but not limited to structural, medical, aerospace, or automotive end-use components.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from transactions with KAT Additive Technologies shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through direct communication before pursuing legal remedies.
13. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued engagement with our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Overview
KAT Additive Technologies ships physical products across India and provides 3D printing and manufacturing services from our facility in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Because we handle both physical product sales and custom manufacturing services, our shipping and return policies differ by order type. Please read the section relevant to your purchase.
SECTION A — 3D Printing & Manufacturing Services
A1. Delivery of Completed Prints
Local Pickup (Ahmedabad) Completed prints can be collected from our Ahmedabad facility. You will be notified via WhatsApp or email once your order is ready for pickup. Orders not collected within 7 days of the ready notification will incur a storage charge of ₹50 per day from day 8 onwards.
Shipping Outside Ahmedabad: We ship completed prints across India via reputed courier partners (Delhivery, Shiprocket, or equivalent). Shipping charges are calculated based on dimensional weight and destination and will be communicated at the time of order confirmation.
- Prints are packed with appropriate protective material to prevent damage in transit
- Fragile or large prints will be double-boxed at no additional charge
- Tracking details will be shared once the shipment is dispatched
Shipping charges are borne by the client unless stated otherwise in the quotation.
A2. Turnaround Time
Turnaround time begins from the date of file approval and advance payment receipt — not the date of inquiry.

A3. Returns and Reprints — Printing Services
Custom 3D prints are manufactured to your specifications and cannot be returned or refunded except in the following circumstances:
We will reprint or refund if:
- The print material used differs from what was confirmed in the order
- Dimensional deviation exceeds our stated tolerances (FDM: ±0.3mm, Resin: ±0.1mm) and the error originates from our process — not from the client's file
- The print fails structurally due to a process error on our part
We will not reprint or refund if:
- The client's file contained errors (incorrect dimensions, insufficient wall thickness, non-manifold geometry)
- The material or process selected by the client is unsuitable for the intended application
- Minor surface variations, layer lines, or support marks are present — these are inherent to additive manufacturing
- Colour variation between batches is present within normal tolerance
- The order is cancelled after printing has commenced
Claims must be raised within 48 hours of receiving the order, with photographic evidence sent to [email protected]. Claims raised after this window will not be entertained.
A4. Transit Damage — Printed Orders
If your order arrives damaged due to transit:
- Photograph the outer packaging and the damaged print before opening fully
- Report to [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery with photos
- We will assess and arrange a reprint or refund based on the evidence provided
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling after delivery.
SECTION B — Material Sales (Filaments & Resins)
B1. Shipping
We ship filaments and resins across India via tracked courier services.

- Orders placed before 2:00 PM on a working day are dispatched the same day
- Orders placed after 2:00 PM or on weekends/holidays are dispatched the next working day

B2. Returns and Refunds — Materials
Eligible for return:
- Product received in damaged condition (packaging visibly damaged on arrival)
- Wrong product shipped (different material type, colour, or brand than ordered)
- Manufacturing defect confirmed upon first use (inconsistent diameter, excessive moisture absorption from sealed packaging)
Not eligible for return:
- Opened resin bottles — due to the hygroscopic and light-sensitive nature of these materials, opened stock cannot be resold or verified
- Filament or resin that has been stored incorrectly by the client (exposure to moisture, sunlight, or heat)
- Colour variation within normal manufacturing tolerance
- Print failures caused by incorrect printer settings or slicer configuration
Return process:
- Email [email protected] within 24 hours of delivery with your order details and photographs
- We will review and respond within 2 working days
- If approved, ship the product back in its original packaging to our Ahmedabad address — return shipping cost is borne by us for verified defective or incorrect items
- Replacement or refund will be processed within 3 working days of receiving the returned product
Refund method: Original payment method (UPI/bank transfer). Refunds reflect within 3–5 working days, depending on your bank.
SECTION C — Printer & Equipment Sales (KAT Systems)
C1. Shipping
Printers and equipment are shipped via insured courier or transport service, depending on size and weight.
- Shipping charges will be quoted separately for printer orders, as they vary significantly by product and destination
- All printers are shipped in the original manufacturer's packaging
- Large format printers (Qiditech Max4, Neptune 4 Max) may be dispatched via surface transport — delivery timelines will be communicated at order confirmation
C2. Returns and Warranty
Cancellation before dispatch: Orders cancelled before dispatch will receive a full refund minus any payment gateway charges.
Returns after delivery: Printers and equipment can be returned within 5 days of delivery only if:
- The product is dead on arrival (DOA) — does not power on or has a critical manufacturing defect
- The wrong product was shipped
Returns will not be accepted for:
- Products that have been used, assembled beyond initial setup, or show signs of modification
- Damage caused during setup or operation by the client
- Buyer's remorse or change of mind after delivery
Warranty: Warranty terms are governed by the respective manufacturer (Elegoo, Qiditech). KAT Systems will facilitate warranty claims on your behalf. Warranty does not cover physical damage, burnt components due to incorrect voltage, or damage from unofficial modifications.
DOA / Defective claims: Report within 48 hours of delivery to [email protected] with unboxing video evidence. Claims without an unboxing video cannot be processed for DOA status.
General Conditions
Force Majeure: KAT Additive Technologies is not liable for delays or non-delivery caused by events outside our control — natural disasters, civil unrest, courier network failures, or government restrictions.
Incorrect Address: Ensure your delivery address is accurate at the time of ordering. Redelivery charges due to incorrect or incomplete addresses are borne by the client.
Unclaimed Shipments: Shipments returned to us due to non-delivery (client unavailable, wrong address, refused delivery) will require re-shipping charges before re-dispatch. Refunds will not be issued for unclaimed shipments.

Quotation & Invoice Policy

Quotations
- All quotations are issued via email or WhatsApp from [email protected]
- Quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue
- A quotation is not a confirmed order — production begins only after advance payment is received
- Pricing in the quotation is based on the file and specifications shared at the time of inquiry. If the final file differs materially, the quotation may be revised
- GST is applicable as per current rates and will be shown separately on the quotation, where applicable
- Goods once sold will not be taken back. For Services / Maintenance, the cost of replacement parts will be extra
- PO (Purchase Order) against the Quote confirms your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions
Proforma Invoice (PI)
- A Proforma Invoice will be issued upon request before payment — typically for institutional buyers, colleges, or corporate clients whose accounts departments require one before releasing payment
- The PI is not a tax document. It confirms the order details and the amount due
- Payment against the PI confirms your acceptance of our Terms & Conditions
Tax Invoice
- A GST tax invoice will be issued after payment for all orders where the client provides a valid GSTIN
- For clients who do not require a GST invoice, a payment receipt will be issued
- Invoices are issued by Tri-Aayam Enterprise, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
- Invoice requests must be raised at the time of ordering — invoices cannot be restructured or reissued with different details after the transaction is complete
