KAT Additive Technologies is an Ahmedabad-based additive manufacturing company operating at the intersection of precision engineering and advanced materials. We exist for one reason: to give Indian manufacturers, designers, and innovators access to world-class manufacturing technology without the barriers of minimum order quantities, long lead times, or overseas dependency.

Our Story
KAT Additive Technologies is inspired by the resilience of crocodiles and our aim for animal welfare.
KAT Additive Technologies was founded with a straightforward observation — the product development ecosystem was being held back by access, not ambition. Engineers had ideas. Startups had prototypes to build. Manufacturers needed jigs, fixtures, and functional parts. But access to precision additive manufacturing meant either compromising on quality, waiting weeks for shipments from distant suppliers, or paying a premium to vendors who treated small and mid-sized clients as an afterthought.
We built KAT to change that equation — locally.
Starting from Ahmedabad's industrial heartland, we have built a multi-technology manufacturing capability that spans FDM, resin, vacuum casting, SLS, and DLP production — serving clients from early-stage startups to established manufacturing operations across Gujarat and beyond.
What We Do
KAT Additive Technologies operates across three focused divisions:
KAT Manufacturing
Our production division: We manufacture functional prototypes, end-use parts, jigs, fixtures, casting patterns, and low-volume production runs using FDM, MSLA resin, vacuum casting, SLS, and DLP Figure 4 technology. Every job is reviewed, managed, and quality-checked in-house — regardless of whether it runs on our floor or through our certified partner network.
KAT Materia
Our materials division. We stock, white-label, and distribute 3D printing filaments and resins under the KAT Materia brand, alongside select third-party brands. Materials are tested on our own production equipment before we sell them. If we don't print with it, we don't stock it.
KAT Systems
Our technology division: We supply professional-grade 3D printers, spares, and accessories to institutions, manufacturers, and individuals setting up their own production capability. We advise honestly on what equipment fits the use case — including when a competitor's machine is the better answer.
Manufacture with Intent
Precision additive manufacturing for engineers, designers, and manufacturers who need parts that actually work — not just prints that look good on screen. We run industrial-grade FDM, resin, vacuum casting, SLS, and DLP Figure 4 technology from Ahmedabad, with turnarounds that match the pace your project actually moves at.
No minimum orders. No overseas wait times. No guessing games on quality.
We also believe a business should give back beyond its invoices. 10% of our earnings go toward feeding Ahmedabad's stray animals — every order you place contributes to that directly.

Multi-technology under one roof. Most vendors are single-technology. We coordinate FDM, resin, vacuum casting, SLS, and DLP Figure 4 — which means you can move a project from rapid prototype to low-volume production without changing your manufacturing partner.
Honest advice. We will tell you when a different material is better for your application, when a different process will save you money, and when your design needs changes before it's worth printing. We would rather lose a small job than set up a client for a failed part.

Our Commitment
Every part that leaves KAT Additive Technologies is checked against the order specification before dispatch. We do not ship and hope. If a print fails our internal quality check, it is reprinted — not shipped and explained away.
